Good day! I know you are probably anticipating the summer as there is so much coming up! There will be trips, games, parties & I am sure you are looking for some rest in the schedule some where!

I hope that in your free time you will consider helping out & joining in the Lord’s work. There are many opportunities for you to be involved in. We have been prayerfully seeking leaders & helpers for VBS coming up July 8-12th. Here is an excellent opportunity for you to get involved in the lives of the children & young families. Many of these folks may or may not be seeking a church & many of their children have not had an opportunity to hear what Jesus Christ has done for them. Here is a great way to lead them to Christ & have a wonderful time doing it. Many young families love when people love their children and make it a priority to get involved in their lives. We should be a church that represents Christ in our community. This would be an amazing opportunity to get the entire church together and minister to the community and grow us to gather as Christ’s children.

Also let’s be on the look out to get to be involved in the community. If there is a Chili cook off, a race, or etc lets get involved. If a ministry is on your heart if you need direction please come see me and I will try & help you to make your ministry for Christ come alive. For a few excited people to go out & share the light of Christ will make a big impact on the Kingdom. I pray each of us will start seeking out that mission mindset. This year I believe will be a prime time for us to get connected with Morgan’s Point. The folks in the community see that we love them & care about them through these out reach programs. Several folks in April participated in the Easter egg hunt, they just took it upon themselves to reach out to the community & it was a huge blessing. They were able to interact with our community and hand out water bottles & provide that Good Samaritan kind of love.

Simple acts of love, mercy, & grace will go a long way in our community. Let’s reach out to them in joy off all that Christ has done for us. Be excited we have a loving God who wants to bless us & wants us to bless others.
